It's tempting to spend every bit of cash as soon as it lands. One upgrade here, another there, and suddenly you've got several unfinished landmarks with little money left. Builder's Bash gives you a reason to pause. Saving enough for a proper building session can make your next board feel much more manageable, especially when you're also planning around the Monopoly Go Partners Event. Don't hold cash indefinitely, though. Other players can take a chunk through heists, so aim for a useful reserve that you'll actually spend when the discount appears.
Give expensive boards some breathing room
Later boards can make ordinary construction feel painfully slow. That's where Builder's Bash earns its place in your routine: it temporarily lowers landmark costs, with discounts reaching up to 50 percent. The saving won't necessarily be identical across every building, so check the prices shown in your construction menu. Think about what your available cash can finish, rather than how many upgrades you can tap. Getting through one whole board may be a more useful target than starting several expensive landmarks and running out of money halfway through.
Have your first move ready
Once the event icon and countdown appear, open the building menu and check your budget against the reduced prices. You'll waste less of the window if you've already decided what you're trying to complete. Finish your current board when the cash allows, collect its rewards, then reassess the next one. Prices keep climbing as you progress, even during a discount. A session that starts comfortably can become expensive quite quickly. Keep an eye on the timer, too; don't base your next purchase on a price that may disappear before you reach it.
| Spending approach | Practical tradeoff | | Buy upgrades immediately | Less cash exposed to heists | | Save for Builder's Bash | More construction for your money | | Wait for overlapping events | Extra rewards if timing works |
Check what else is running
Before spending your reserve, take a quick look at the other active events. Landmark Rush or Board Rush can add rewards to construction you'd already planned. If their timers overlap with Builder's Bash, that same cash may stretch further. Don't assume an overlap is coming, though, or leave yourself waiting endlessly for the perfect session. Houses and hotels earned through upgrades also contribute to color sets. Wheel rewards come from the relevant board interactions, so finishing landmarks doesn't mean every potential spin arrives immediately.
Make the savings serve your goals
A good building session should leave you closer to something you actually want: another completed board, more dice, or progress toward your next reward. Sticker collectors comparing options such as cheap Monopoly Go Stickers can also keep an eye on the packs available through overlapping rewards. Still, let your cash balance and the event clock set the pace. Spend while the discount helps, reassess after each board, and stop when the next round of construction would stretch your reserve too far.
